The Institute is the primary planner for two major community events, The Great American Celebration & Light Up Viera. These signature events, built around two great annual holidays, bring neighbors and friends together to celebrate.
Education &
Awareness
The Institute is committed to ensuring the protection of Viera’s conservation lands and educating Viera residents on how they can participate in reducing environmental impacts. The Institute will work in conjunction with the Viera Stewardship District and environmental organizations to assist Viera’s residents in understanding eco-friendly landscape and irrigation practices.

The Viera Community Institute, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation duly incorporated and in good standing under the laws of Florida. The Institute is organized to foster the health, harmony and well-being of the Viera community by facilitating education, environmental, cultural and charitable activities and outreach programs within Viera and Brevard County. Although the Institute is a not-for-profit organization, it is currently not exempt from Federal income tax and neither contributions nor gifts to the institute are deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes.
