This Accessibility Policy sets out how the Viera Community Institute (VCI) is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. VCI actively works to align this website to ever-evolving, best-practice standards and guidelines.
Standards and Guidelines
This website endeavors to conform to level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the website more user-friendly for all people.
This website has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS, and as such, it should operate correctly when accessed by modern browsers.
Although VCI strives to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to provide 100% of site content to all users. We have attempted to provide acceptable alternatives in these situations, especially when that content is important in helping users interact with and understand about Viera.
Should you experience any difficulty in using and accessing the content on this website, please don’t hesitate to contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, by phone at 321-242-1200 or in person at our Viera Discovery Center in The Avenue Viera (2261 Town Center Ave., #105, Viera, FL 32940), Monday through Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sundays from noon to 6pm.
