OUR MISSION

Viera Community Institute is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to foster the health, harmony and well-being of the Viera community by facilitating educational, environmental, cultural and charitable activities and outreach programs within Viera and Brevard County.

CREATING QUALITY OF LIFE AND A STRONGER COMMUNITY

When The Viera Company envisioned Viera in the mid-1980s, the idea was to create a vibrant communitya place people would want to call home.

The Viera Community Institute was formed to help create a community quality of life environment that will be Viera’s Legacy for generations to come.

Enriching our Community Through Events, Education and Charitable Giving

EVENTS

Viera Community Institute hosts and organizes major community-focused events in Viera.

You may be familiar with the annual Light Up Viera Holiday Parade or the annual Great American Celebration which brings us fireworks on July 4th. These signature events, built around two great annual holidays, bring many neighbors and friends together to celebrate. You and your costumed pets may wish to participate in the fun Pet Fest Derby Day, or bring the family to Viera Nature Festival in the Spring and join the outdoor games for all ages at our Viera Harvest Festival in the Fall.

There’s something for everyone and every age … even our 4-legged friends and family.

Please sign up to be a volunteer at a future event.

EDUCATION

Viera Community Institute strives to enrich the Viera experience by bringing us together helping us all learn about many fine organizations and businesses in Viera who add something of value to our lives every day.

Key areas of focus are environmental appreciation and stewardship, family pets and pet health and happiness, with many opportunities for our schools and churches, not for profits and small businesses to showcase their contributions to Viera living.

If you believe your organization or business is a potential fit for one of our events, please send a brief note to: events@Viera.com  HAVE QUESTIONS? or SUGGESTIONS FOR INCLUSION IN OUR EVENTS, use this form.

CHARITABLE GIVING

As part of the educational activities and performances that occur in these wonderful events and activities, there are always people who volunteer to help make these occasions truly special, and individuals and businesses who sponsor parts of the events, and others who The Insitute supports so they can participate.

Each major event has ways you can support or participate.
For donor options and sponsorship opportunities, contact:   call: 321-255-4500 or use this CONTACT FORM to share your ideas with us.

Please contribute where you can.
